Samsung’s main showcase at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games was an immersive branded experience that built on the Galaxy evolution and the brand’s history with the Games.

 

Designed to deliver fun, unique and premium experiences, including a music zone, wearables zone, and a photography installation, amongst others, the pavilion was organised around a prominent Gear VR 4D Experience. Attendees were absorbed into the distinctive virtual content created for this milestone event.

As project manager, I took direct part in casting, training and leading a 300 people team inside the Olympic Park and also at Athlete’s Village and Media Center. Direct clients were Cheil Worldwide, Jack Morton Productions and Purity Staffing UK.
